About the Role
You will own the lifecycle of data center and hardware lab environments, including facility selection, rack design, power distribution, networking, cabling, operations, and capacity planning. You will build monitoring, manage vendors and co-location sites, maintain asset and change-control systems, perform maintenance, and establish physical security procedures.

Responsibilities
- Own rack layout, capacity planning, power distribution, network design, cabling, and physical platform deployment
- Design and manage power-distribution and redundancy architectures
- Build and manage hardware labs with facilities teams and vendors
- Evaluate co-location sites, negotiate contracts, and enforce service-level agreements
- Architect and implement high-speed networking infrastructure
- Maintain asset-management systems, rack diagrams, and change-control processes
- Build monitoring and alerting for environmental health and respond to incidents
- Execute preventive maintenance and hardware lifecycle processes
- Lead capacity-planning cycles and translate forecasts into facility agreements and procurement plans
- Establish physical-security procedures, access-control policies, and audit trails
