About the Role
You will analyze healthcare claims and operational data, build outreach and performance analytics, monitor audit metrics, reconcile invoices, create dashboards and automated reports, detect inefficiencies, perform root cause analysis, forecast business needs, optimize SQL and Python workflows, and maintain data governance and HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
- Healthcare Claims Analytics or Payment Integrity Analytics experience preferred
- Advanced SQL expertise including joins, CTEs, stored procedures, optimization, and large datasets
- Strong Python expertise for automation, reporting, transformation, and analytics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets proficiency
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau
- Experience creating automated reporting suites, KPI dashboards, and executive scorecards
- Experience monitoring SLA, TAT, queue health, financial, and operational metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, or Textract is beneficial
- Familiarity with Git and Jira is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Analyze healthcare claims, audit, provider, reimbursement, and operational data
- Build provider outreach effectiveness analytics
- Monitor audit SLAs, turnaround time, queue aging, throughput, and productivity
- Reconcile invoices, recoveries, fees, payments, and billing outputs
- Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports
- Develop automated operational, financial, and executive reports
- Generate ad hoc reports and business analysis
- Ensure report and metric accuracy across systems
- Create profiling reports and monitor performance drift
- Detect inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions
- Perform root cause analysis on recoveries, SLA breaches, delays, and variances
- Use analytics and forecasting for staffing and productivity planning
- Create and optimize SQL queries, data models, and Python workflows
- Maintain data governance and follow HIPAA and privacy policies
