About the Role
You will set the Cyber Operations strategy and operating model. You will make complex cyber-risk decisions, develop SOPs and escalation paths, build reviewer capability, manage operational health, use analysis and automation to improve operations, establish quality systems, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, threat intelligence, incident response, security research, or a related field
- 4+ years of team leadership experience
- Experience building and scaling cyber operations, cyber intelligence, or abuse-prevention capabilities
- Experience designing human-in-the-loop automation or evaluation systems
- Knowledge of attacker behavior, emerging threats, abuse patterns, and dual-use activity
- Experience with high-stakes operations, reviewer programs, QA systems, escalation workflows, or vendor programs
- Ability to analyze operational data and communicate executive recommendations
Responsibilities
- Set Cyber Operations strategy, operating model, roadmaps, SOPs, and quality goals
- Make complex cybersecurity and cyber intelligence decisions
- Translate policy ambiguity into decision rules, training, and tooling requirements
- Build reviewer capability through onboarding, coaching, certification, and calibration
- Manage quality, queue coverage, productivity, SLA adherence, and escalations
- Use analysis and automation to diagnose root causes and reduce manual work
- Build quality and evaluation systems
- Build and scale operational capabilities
- Present operational strategy and recommendations to executives and partners
