About the Role
You will own Instagram short-form content from concept through final approval. You will set the editorial calendar, develop formats, identify trends, perform on camera, direct talent and avatars, review edits, and use performance data to improve reach, shares, saves, and follower growth.
Requirements
- Demonstrated record of creating viral short-form videos
- Audience of 50,000 or more on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, or experience running an account that achieved this
- Experience leading a team or crew and making creative decisions
- Strong on-camera and directing skills
- Video editing ability using CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools
- Ability to analyze reach, shares, saves, and retention curves
- 3+ years creating short-form social content, including experience in a brand or team setting
Responsibilities
- Own Instagram short-form content end to end
- Set the editorial calendar, content formats, and creative standards
- Analyze Instagram trends, sounds, pacing, and hooks
- Create and host on-camera content
- Direct founders, teammates, creators, and avatars on camera
- Develop, test, and ship new content formats weekly
- Review, approve, revise, or reject creative before publication
- Track reach, shares, saves, follower growth, and retention performance
- Use performance data to refine creative strategy
