About the Role
You will join a leading global cryptocurrency exchange as a Marketing Intern, gaining hands-on experience contributing directly to brand and content strategy. You'll draft engaging, creative copy for social media, primarily X/Twitter, and write evergreen articles relevant to crypto trading and the broader industry. You'll actively monitor social platforms to spot emerging trends, breaking news, and relevant discussions. You'll compile and present metric reports covering social media, press releases, advertising campaigns, and KOL initiatives. You'll work closely with the PR & Brand Manager to maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns and product launches, and liaise with the Design Team to prepare visual assets. You'll also help maintain and update the BitMEX website based on requests from internal stakeholders. This internship runs for 6 months, full-time or part-time (minimum 20 hours per week), with a minimum of 2 days per week required in the office.
Requirements
- Valid working rights in Hong Kong for the duration of the internship
- Highly creative, self-starter mentality
- Digitally savvy with ability to identify and capitalise on social media trends
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous knowledge of or interaction with crypto trading, particularly derivatives trading, is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field
Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining and updating the BitMEX website based on stakeholder requests
