About the Role

You will support the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring overall compliance by executing training programs that evaluate how well business practices meet regulatory requirements. You will make sure employees understand relevant policies and how they apply to their roles, and you will provide continuous learning on anti-money laundering, data privacy, MORNBFI and other BSP rules and procedures to new and existing employees. You will develop informative training materials, create training guides and memoranda, and deliver annual AML/CFT training to all employees. You will facilitate customized trainings based on new regulations or role-specific needs. You will establish process documentation for compliance policies and Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Programs, and you will collaborate on standardizing and documenting the Compliance Unit's operational policies and procedures. You will review and recommend changes to policies within your assigned group, coordinate with process owners and stakeholders on policy drafts, conduct periodic reviews of compliance documents, and monitor other business units' policies for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in a compliance testing/auditing or AML-related role with exposure in training for AMLA related activities, quality assurance and other compliance training engagements in a financial institution
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the essential AML/BSP regulations
  • Graduate of a 4-year business, accounting, law, or related course from a reputable institution
  • A good team player and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for payments and cryptocurrency industries
  • Fluency in English with outstanding communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop informative training programs and materials to promote continuous education
  • Create training guides or memoranda to enhance employee learning
  • Provide annual AML/CFT training to all employees
  • Facilitate customized trainings according to new regulations or role-specific needs
  • Establish process documentation for applicable compliance policies and Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Programs
  • Collaborate on standardizing and documenting operational policies and procedures of the Compliance Unit
  • Review, update, and recommend changes in policies and procedures within assigned group/functions
  • Collaborate and coordinate with process owners and policy stakeholders for inputs prior to final policy draft submission
  • Conduct periodic reviews of compliance documents and create new versions when necessary
  • Monitor policies and procedures of other business units for compliance with relevant regulations
