About the Role

You advise the business on compliance and regulatory matters, monitor adherence to policies and legal requirements, support licensing and regulatory applications, and engage with authorities. You monitor crypto-asset regulation, translate changes into practical guidance, enhance compliance frameworks, advise senior management, collaborate on anti-financial-crime controls, and help establish the internal compliance department.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance or risk functions focused on crypto-assets or financial services
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience designing, implementing, and enhancing compliance processes and control frameworks
  • Knowledge of international regulatory requirements, crypto-assets, securities regulations, MiCAR, and MiFID
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple business functions
  • Ability to challenge constructively and engage with senior management and regulatory authorities
  • Interest in digital assets
  • Proactive and hands-on approach

Responsibilities

  • Advise the business on compliance and regulatory matters
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Support licensing and regulatory applications
  • Engage with competent authorities in the Netherlands and other jurisdictions
  • Monitor developments in crypto-asset regulation
  • Translate regulatory changes into practical, risk-based guidance
  • Develop, review, and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Provide compliance advice to the Chief Compliance Officer and Management Board
  • Work with the Anti-Financial Crime department on the control framework
  • Establish the internal compliance department and grow the team
