About the Role

You will develop and operate the compliance monitoring and testing programme for European operations. You will review processes, risks, and controls; identify gaps; manage remediation; and advise the business on regulations, policies, and procedures. You will implement AML/CFT policies, oversee emerging regulatory requirements, support product launches, deliver compliance training, oversee regulatory reporting, and review marketing materials for local compliance.

Requirements

  • Experience in crypto, fintech, or another regulated, high-volume transaction industry.
  • Second-line compliance experience in a previous senior role at a regulated MiFID investment firm, MTF, bank, crypto exchange, or payments firm.
  • Experience with the CJA and CASP registrations.
  • Experience managing complex global compliance projects.
  • Risk analysis and sound judgment.
  • Knowledge of compliance risk management techniques.
  • Financial crimes and markets compliance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a compliance monitoring and testing programme.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments to identify non-compliance.
  • Provide compliance advice and guidance on regulations, rules, and internal procedures.
  • Develop and operationalise policies and procedures, including AML/CFT requirements.
  • Oversee implementation of new regulatory requirements and manage horizon scanning.
  • Work with the COO and CEO to implement operational compliance efficiencies.
  • Support regional product rollouts.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programmes.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure marketing materials comply with local requirements.
  • Foster compliance awareness and accountability through communication and training.
