About the Role
You will monitor exchange activity and market data to identify abuse, margin issues, and position-limit breaches. You will investigate flagged trades, prepare reports, support regulatory responses, improve surveillance protocols, enforce compliance procedures, and collaborate with legal, risk, technology, and external regulators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Math, or Juris Doctorate
- 4+ years of financial-services compliance experience or equivalent experience
- Experience in derivatives or prediction markets
- Experience in traditional finance or crypto
- Familiarity with futures markets, commodities, and trading
- Experience with trade-surveillance platforms
- Ability to communicate with market participants, regulators, and executive management
- Knowledge of futures-exchange operations, trading, risk management, or regulation
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
Responsibilities
- Monitor exchange activity, security feeds, and product safety data for market abuse
- Monitor market data for margin and position-limit compliance
- Use surveillance tools and dashboards to flag and escalate anomalies
- Conduct post-trade reviews and forensic analysis
- Investigate potential rule violations and prepare investigative reports
- Prepare findings reports and recommend actions
- Support regulatory inquiries and audits
- Improve surveillance protocols and compliance frameworks
- Support KYC, AML, and transaction-monitoring enforcement
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Technology, regulators, and industry bodies
