About the Role

You will independently review financial crime and sanctions investigations, assess decision-making and documentation, identify defects, and provide feedback. You will monitor quality trends, prepare reports, support calibration and remediation, improve QA processes and tools, and contribute to AML projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Understanding of AML/CFT regulations, financial crime investigations, transaction monitoring, and QA methodologies
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent workstreams and regulatory deadlines
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and escalate appropriately

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent QA reviews of financial crime and sanctions casework
  • Evaluate investigation accuracy, completeness, documentation, and compliance with AML/CFT requirements
  • Identify defects, document findings, and provide feedback to investigators and team leads
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, Compliance, and other stakeholders on quality trends and process gaps
  • Participate in and facilitate QA calibration sessions
  • Monitor investigator performance and recurring error trends
  • Prepare quality reports and dashboards
  • Provide guidance on complex or high-risk AML cases
  • Validate remediation actions and track quality improvements
  • Escalate compliance risks, control weaknesses, and systemic issues
  • Recommend improvements to procedures, QA methodologies, workflows, scorecards, and controls
  • Contribute to AI-enabled quality tools, UAT, and quality initiatives
  • Support AML projects, training, root-cause analysis, and special assignments
