About the Role
You will be the voice and face of the product for Korean-speaking users. You will build and nurture channels on KakaoTalk, Naver Cafe, Twitter, Discord and Telegram, design engagement campaigns, moderate conversations, and respond to user inquiries. You will translate and adapt global materials for the Korean market, identify and empower local advocates, collaborate with partners and influencers, represent the product at online and offline events, and gather user feedback to share actionable insights with product and marketing teams. You will work remotely and use analytics to measure and grow community health.
Requirements
- 2+ years community management, marketing or growth experience in Web3, crypto or tech startups
- Proven experience managing Korean communities
- Native Korean and fluent English communication
- Deep understanding of Korean crypto culture, platforms, memes and influencers
- Proficient with Discord, Telegram, Notion, Twitter and analytics tools
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Genuine interest and participation in Web3, NFT, DeFi or DAO ecosystems
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture Korean-speaking communities on KakaoTalk, Naver Cafe, Twitter, Discord and Telegram
- Design and execute community engagement campaigns, events and content
- Moderate local community channels and respond to user inquiries
- Translate and localize marketing materials, blog posts, newsletters and announcements
- Adapt global campaigns and content for the Korean market
- Identify and empower local advocates, ambassadors and content creators
- Gather user feedback, sentiment and suggestions and relay insights to product and marketing teams
- Collaborate with local projects, influencers, media and event organizers
- Represent the company at online and offline events, meetups and AMAs in Korea
