About the Role
The founding Community Manager will build community engagement, manage Discord operations, integrate bots, moderate content, create branded visual content, grow audiences, and develop relationships with crypto influencers.
Requirements
- Experience managing a Discord community with over 10K members
- Direct experience with Discord management, bot integration, server programming, spam detection, and content moderation
- Proven written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage large audiences and grow online communities
- Working knowledge of crypto culture
- Graphic design and photo editing ability
- Eye for detail and strong organizational skills
- Excitement to learn and adapt to evolving web3 trends
- Bonus: active crypto community participation and social media following
- Bonus: fluency in meme creation and crypto cultural trends
Responsibilities
- Build and execute community engagement strategies
- Manage and moderate Discord server operations
- Integrate and maintain bots and server automations
- Program and configure server features and channels
- Detect and remove spam and abusive content
- Create high-quality branded graphics and visual content
- Grow and manage large online audiences
- Cultivate relationships with crypto influencers and partners
- Monitor community feedback and report insights
