About the Role

You will manage day-to-day media relations, pitch journalists, build relationships, and secure coverage across crypto, fintech, payments, technology, and business media. You will run media outreach and executive thought leadership programs, draft press and executive materials, coordinate interviews and speaking opportunities, manage communications timelines, and lead rapid-response communications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, or media relations
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong international business and technology connections
• Track record of pitching and securing earned media coverage
• Established journalist relationships
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Sound judgment about when to act independently and when to involve leadership
• Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, infrastructure technology, developer platforms, or crypto is desirable
• Existing relationships with fintech, payments, technology, or business media are desirable
• Experience at a high-growth startup or scaling technology company is desirable
• Experience working with international media and distributed teams is desirable

Responsibilities

• Pitch journalists and secure coverage across crypto, fintech, payments, technology, and business media
• Build and maintain relationships with priority journalists
• Run media outreach for announcements, product launches, partnerships, research, and milestones
• Draft press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, Q&As, and spokesperson preparation materials
• Manage inbound media enquiries and coordinate executive interviews
• Identify and pursue media opportunities that support company priorities
• Monitor coverage, industry developments, and competitor activity
• Run executive thought leadership programs across media, conferences, podcasts, and industry events
• Secure speaking opportunities, interviews, and contributed content placements
• Draft messaging, talking points, briefing documents, and background materials for executives
• Coordinate speaker submissions and prepare executives
• Manage communications timelines and deliver announcements accurately and on schedule
• Lead rapid-response communications during high-profile announcements or industry developments
