About the Role
You will operate autonomous-enabled commercial trucks on local and over-the-road freight routes. You will take control when needed, inspect vehicles, execute dispatch routes, document trips, communicate operational updates, comply with regulations, and report vehicle and route feedback.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- 3+ years of recent verifiable Class A driving experience
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Ability to meet company auto-insurance coverage requirements
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, MVR review, DOT physical, and practical driving assessment
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Operate autonomous-enabled commercial trucks on local and over-the-road routes
- Take control of vehicles when required for safety and compliance
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Execute assigned freight routes
- Communicate route status, delays, and issues
- Comply with FMCSA regulations and hours-of-service requirements
- Maintain trip documentation and operational records
- Provide feedback on vehicle performance, route conditions, and operational processes
