About the Role
You will manage commercial and contractual aspects of hyperscale data-centre projects across the UK and Europe. You will oversee procurement, budgets, CAPEX models, cost reporting, forecasting, cash flow, contract administration, commercial change, risk management, and financial close-out from pre-contract through final account.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in forecasting, cash-flow management, cost control, and profitability across complex construction projects or portfolios
- Data-centre experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
- Proven record of delivering profitable projects and optimising commercial performance
- Fluency in English
- MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial management of hyperscale data-centre construction projects
- Drive cost efficiency and value creation
- Manage project budgets and CAPEX models
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash-flow analyses
- Conduct budget preparation, benchmarking, and cost modelling
- Present cost analysis and recommendations to senior management
- Manage project costs, variations, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives
- Oversee financial close-out and final commercial documentation
- Manage commercial change evaluation, negotiation, and approval
- Lead commercial risk management and maintain risk registers
- Collaborate with Development, Construction, Finance, and Operations
- Apply regional market, cost-index, and regulatory insights
