About the Role
You will own the technology and product end to end, taking a tested MVP into a reliable production product for field technicians. You will build AI workflows, integrations, evaluation and monitoring systems, and a learning engine that improves from confirmed outcomes. You will work directly with technicians, translate feedback into product improvements, recruit and lead engineering, and help shape strategy and investor conversations as a co-founder.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- At least 3 years of experience applying machine learning in production products
- Experience leading the technical build of a zero-to-one product
- Hands-on software engineering experience across backend, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud
- Knowledge of LLM limitations and testing
- Fluent German and English
Responsibilities
- Own the technology end to end, including architecture, roadmap, build-versus-buy decisions, reliability, and security
- Take the tested MVP to a production-grade product used daily by field technicians
- Build reliable AI workflows and integrations with customer work-order and asset-data systems
- Improve the machine-learning core, including retrieval, multimodal inputs, and diagnostic reasoning
- Design and build a learning engine that captures, evaluates, and reuses confirmed outcomes
- Set up evaluation, safety, grounding, escalation, monitoring, and regression testing
- Build a UX/UI that technicians want to use daily
- Gather feedback from technicians in the field and turn it into product improvements
- Recruit and lead the engineering team as the company scales
- Shape company strategy, culture, and investor conversations as a co-founder
