About the Role
You will prepare and install large parts on turning and milling machines, set machine origins and tools, and operate Siemens CNC equipment. You will monitor production, adjust machining parameters, perform dimensional checks, maintain traceability records, and follow quality, nuclear safety, and industrial safety requirements.
Requirements
- CAP, vocational baccalaureate, or technological baccalaureate in machining
- Significant CNC turning and/or milling experience
- Proficiency with Siemens CNC controls
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to use dimensional measuring equipment
- Ability to independently set up and operate machines
Responsibilities
- Prepare and install parts on turning and milling machines
- Set machine origins and assemble tools before machining
- Operate Siemens CNC machines
- Monitor manufacturing and adjust machining parameters
- Perform dimensional self-checks, cross-checks, and double checks
- Complete production tracking documents and ensure operational traceability
- Contribute to continuous improvement of machining processes
- Apply quality, safety, and nuclear-safety requirements
