About the Role
Set up and operate laser, punch, and panel bender CNC machines; load materials; enter or modify programs; interpret blueprints; adjust machines; inspect products; maintain equipment and tooling; review work orders; and verify materials.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
- Methodical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Participation in a drug and alcohol program.
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Two-year technical degree, shear and brake press experience, and laser and punch experience are bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery.
- Load sheet metal into feed mechanisms.
- Enter programs and perform post-production adjustments.
- Run machine tests before operations.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to manufacture components.
- Adjust machines and programs to meet quality requirements.
- Inspect machinery and products using quality control systems and check sheets.
- Check, replace, and sharpen tooling.
- Perform daily machine maintenance.
- Maintain tooling inventory.
- Review work orders and programs.
- Verify required materials.
