Operate and improve database services for mission-critical systems by monitoring, configuring, upgrading, scaling, backing up, migrating, troubleshooting, documenting, and evaluating database tools.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of DBA experience, including at least 3 years of MySQL or PostgreSQL experience
- More than 3 years of recent AWS experience
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Experience with Shell and scripting languages such as Python or Go
Responsibilities
- Operate databases, including monitoring, configuration management, upgrades, scaling, backups, and data migration
- Improve the quality and efficiency of database operations
- Troubleshoot stability and performance problems
- Contribute operational documentation to support knowledge sharing and decision-making
- Research, test, and adopt tools in database ecosystems
