About the Role
You will review grading drainage utility roadway and access designs for constructability code compliance and program alignment. You will support permitting coordinate site infrastructure resolve construction issues review civil deliverables and contribute to diligence early works and design standards across multiple projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of civil site design or owner's-side civil review experience on industrial mission-critical or large commercial developments.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of grading drainage stormwater management and utility infrastructure.
- Experience supporting entitlement and site permitting with AHJs environmental agencies and DOTs.
- Comfort reviewing Civil 3D-based deliverables and geotechnical reports.
- Construction-phase experience with RFIs submittals and earthwork QA/QC decisions.
- Ability to support multiple concurrent projects and reprioritize against construction schedules.
- Clear communication with consultants agencies and field teams.
- Ability to travel periodically to project sites across Texas Louisiana and the Southeast typically 15-25%.
Responsibilities
- Review grading earthwork storm drainage detention utility roadway access and erosion-control packages.
- Verify civil designs support heavy-haul routes crane pads and laydown areas.
- Support site-development permits SWPPP/NPDES floodplain approvals drainage approvals utility permits and DOT access.
- Track agency review cycles and drive comment responses.
- Coordinate water sewer gas and telecom infrastructure with serving utilities and substation site needs.
- Respond to civil RFIs and field issues.
- Review submittals shop drawings and mix designs.
- Support earthwork QA/QC decisions including compaction subgrade acceptance and dewatering.
- Support site diligence grading feasibility drainage constraints geotechnical review and early-works packages.
- Maintain civil design standards typical details and specification updates.
