About the Role
You define and execute the global payments network strategy across licensed markets. You build banking relationships, own network commercial performance, develop next-generation payment capabilities, and resolve operational issues. You lead payments specialists, strengthen risk and governance frameworks, support regulatory engagements, and represent the organization to financial institutions, regulators, industry forums, and media.
Requirements
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience building and scaling global payments network functions
- Deep expertise in payments infrastructure licensing correspondent banking regulatory frameworks and market entry
- Proven experience building and managing institutional banking relationships
- Experience with stablecoin infrastructure programmable payments or next-generation cross-border settlement
- Hands-on expertise in treasury risk management intra-group funding and FX and interest rate hedging
- Background in fintech payments infrastructure or a regulated global financial institution
- Executive presence with regulators boards institutional partners and employees
- Ability to build coach and develop high-performing teams
- Extreme ownership and accountability for results
- Precise communication and high-stakes decision-making ability
- Ability to operate effectively across complex global markets
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global payments network strategy
- Build network architecture for collection disbursement settlement and card issuance
- Own payments network P&L pricing partner economics and margins
- Develop stablecoin programmable money and real-time settlement capabilities
- Resolve network performance issues quickly and completely
- Build and manage global banking relationships
- Negotiate commercial terms complete due diligence and launch partnerships
- Represent the organization to regulators central banks and financial institutions
- Lead coach and develop 25 payments specialists
- Align network capabilities with commercial demand
- Strengthen risk governance and compliance frameworks
- Support regulatory engagements audits and licensing processes
- Speak at industry events and shape external payments messaging
