About the Role

You will operate automated adapters and storage and retrieval equipment, perform pre-production checks, monitor system flow, and prepare pallets for induction. You will troubleshoot stoppages using HMI terminals, recover robotic vehicles, inspect and maintain components, escalate production issues, and follow required safety protocols.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education or training
• Proficiency in system inspection functions, including cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checking, current measurements, and electrical-system checks
• Ability to prioritize work to maximize automated-cell uptime and throughput
• Ability to work safely, independently, and according to procedures and manuals
• Ability to multitask and perform multiple job functions

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-production checks on automated adapters
• Monitor and process automated storage and retrieval system flow
• Prepare pallets for induction into the storage and retrieval system
• Assess system stoppages and restore service using HMI terminals and manual intervention
• Escalate production-impacting issues to operational leadership
• Support system uptime through robot recovery, suspect removal, and bot health actions
• Perform system inspections, cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checks, and component validation
• Report out-of-spec conditions and perform root-cause corrective actions
• Maintain rover bots, including wheels, ESD brushes, and sensors
• Recover automated robotic vehicles in restrictive environments
