About the Role
You will use your legal training to turn SAFEs, stock plans, and financing documents into structured onchain cap table data. You will manage onboarding, reconciliation, and validation of client cap tables, improve an AI engine to parse legal documents, help define open standards for onchain equity, operate the cap table engine, and work with engineering and support to automate legal workflows and ensure alignment. You must be located on the US East Coast and authorized to work in the United States.
Requirements
- JD required with 1–4 years of corporate or transactional experience (firm, in-house, or legal ops)
- Fluency in venture financings, cap tables, SAFEs, and equity compensation
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, APIs, and structured data
- Experience with cap table tools is a major plus
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication
- Must be based on the US East Coast and authorized to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding of client cap tables
- Reconcile and validate client cap tables
- Enhance the AI engine to parse and structure SAFEs, equity grants, board resolutions, and financing documents into OCF-based data
- Define and contribute to open-source standards for representing equity onchain
- Operate the cap table engine and collaborate with engineering to automate legal workflows
- Assist support, founders, investors, and outside counsel to ensure legal and technical alignment
