About the Role
You will develop, test, debug, and maintain C++ software for edge systems, imaging, mission applications, diagnostics, and developer tools. You will build applications for NVIDIA Jetson and sensor-connected platforms, investigate cross-domain system issues, contribute to testing and documentation, and collaborate on integrated capabilities.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Foundation in C++
- Experience developing, building, or debugging software on Linux or Windows
- Understanding of memory management, data structures, interfaces, testing, and version control
- Experience with software interacting with hardware, sensors, networks, robotics, imaging systems, or physical devices
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian NV1 Secret clearance
- Ability to access ITAR-controlled and Australian export-controlled technical data
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain C++ software for edge systems
- Build applications for NVIDIA Jetson and other edge-compute platforms
- Contribute to calibration, synchronization, data-capture, observability, and configuration tools
- Investigate issues across software, Linux, networking, hardware interfaces, timing, deployment, and system integration
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, documentation, and design discussions
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, AI, autonomy, product, and test engineers
- Own defined components and technical problems
