About the Role

You will architect, document, and deploy test equipment and software for robotic production. You will lead outsourced test development, integrate design-for-test practices, scale test capacity, analyze test data, solve electromechanical issues, train technical teams, and mentor engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Robotics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 8 years of relevant experience
• Test software development experience using Python
• Knowledge of electromechanical and software engineering
• Knowledge of digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
• Experience selecting or designing testing hardware
• Experience deploying and supporting test systems at contract-manufacturing sites
• Experience with Windows and Linux test software development
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Analog and digital test and debugging skills
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including internationally
• Eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and design strategy for outsourced test development
• Integrate design-for-test practices into product development
• Manage ODM and JDM functional-test capacity and expansion planning
• Create documentation for test procedures, fixtures, and configurations
• Deliver end-to-end test solutions for new and sustaining robot platforms
• Analyze test data to improve product quality and testing processes
• Perform root cause analysis of electromechanical subsystems
• Oversee deployment and maintenance of test stations
• Train internal and external teams on test equipment and debugging
• Mentor engineers and technicians
