About the Role
You will partner with the Head of Product to turn priorities into plans, models, documents, and agreements that are carried through to completion. You will lead business planning and KPI tracking, research markets and competitors, coordinate planning cycles, define enterprise delivery models, support hiring, and drive cross-product initiatives. You will use AI agents for research, drafting, analysis, and workflow design while collaborating in Japanese and English.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business operations, corporate planning, chief of staff roles, or equivalent experience
- Experience with enterprise B2B engagements, including agreeing scope and responsibilities with sales and engineering
- Understanding of software architecture, APIs, deployment, infrastructure, and security
- Ability to autonomously drive initiatives in an unestablished, fast-paced environment
- Ability to create structured analyses, financial or business models, and decision documents
- Clear written communication in Japanese and English
- Experience influencing engineers, sales, and executives
- Daily hands-on use of LLM agents and understanding of generative AI
- Business-level Japanese and English
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain business plans, revenue and cost models, and KPI tracking
- Conduct market, competitor, and enterprise-requirement research and present recommendations
- Run planning cycles, reviews, and cross-product prioritization
- Define enterprise engagement scope, responsibilities, and handoffs with Sales and Forward Deployed Engineers
- Lead Product Team hiring activities, including role definition, take-home assignments, and selection processes
- Drive cross-product initiatives involving enterprise requirements, pricing, packaging, and customer feedback
- Use AI agents for research, drafting, analysis, and workflow development
- Collaborate across a global Japanese- and English-speaking team
