About the Role
You will coordinate research planning, milestones, resources, and cross-functional work across AI and physical-science programs. You will translate scientific goals into operating plans, connect research outputs with product decisions, develop scalable planning processes, and lead strategic analyses and external collaboration efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in physics, chemistry, materials science, computational science, or a related quantitative discipline
- 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product management, chief of staff, or a related function
- Experience in a technical, research-driven, or AI organization
- Ability to engage with scientific literature and technical AI and physical-science discussions
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Experience designing planning and prioritization systems
Responsibilities
- Support research planning cycles, milestone tracking, experiment prioritization, and cross-team coordination
- Design systems for visibility into research progress, resource utilization, and risks
- Translate scientific goals into quarterly operating plans, resourcing decisions, and hiring priorities
- Remove organizational, process, and tooling bottlenecks
- Coordinate compute, lab equipment, and infrastructure allocation
- Connect research outputs with product development
- Drive product roadmap development, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment
- Build roadmaps, decision logs, templates, and review cadences
- Support evaluation design, benchmark development, and model assessment
- Lead strategic analyses and special projects
- Support external partnerships, collaborations, and customer engagements
