About the Role

You will manage and continuously improve the business continuity management system, with a focus on IT emergency management. You will conduct impact and risk analyses, maintain emergency and recovery plans, plan exercises and tests, deliver awareness training, coordinate supplier-related requirements, and advise business units and auditors.

Requirements

  • Degree in banking, business administration, computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
  • Strong experience in IT emergency management, IT service continuity management, or business continuity management
  • Knowledge of DORA, ISO/IEC 27031, ISO 22301, and BSI Standards 100-4 and 200-4
  • Experience managing emergencies and crises and knowledge of staff work fundamentals
  • Very good German and good English language skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and improve the business continuity management system with a focus on IT emergency management
  • Design and ensure annual business-impact analyses and risk analyses
  • Derive improvement proposals from analyses
  • Create and maintain IT emergency concepts, restart and recovery plans, and alerting procedures
  • Plan and document regular emergency exercises
  • Support controls during IT emergency tests
  • Deliver awareness training and advise first-line units on business continuity and IT emergency management
  • Coordinate internal business continuity requirements for external service providers
  • Advise business units and internal and external auditors on IT emergency management and IT service continuity
