About the Role
You will help build and maintain a decentralized non-custodial Bitcoin bridge and related layer-1 blockchain features. You will design and implement secure, efficient Rust code, work with Tendermint consensus and IBC integrations, participate in code reviews, debug complex problems, and keep current with Bitcoin development practices.
Requirements
- Experience with Bitcoin development
- Experience with blockchain applications
- Familiarity with Tendermint consensus
- Participation in the Bitcoin community
- Knowledge of data structure
- Knowledge of algorithm
- Excellent debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Rust and eagerness to learn Rust
Responsibilities
- Implement software solutions for Bitcoin bridging and layer-1 blockchain features
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and secure Rust code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate and work with Tendermint consensus and IBC
- Debug and resolve complex issues in blockchain and Bitcoin code
- Stay up-to-date with Bitcoin development trends and best practices
- Collaborate with other developers to design and deliver features
