About the Role
You will own the electrical design and sizing of large storage plants across concurrent sites. You will qualify BESS vendors, define hybrid-plant dispatch, lead safety compliance and hazard mitigation approvals, and take plants through commissioning, performance testing, and controls integration.
Requirements
- Experience taking grid-scale battery storage from single line to energized plant
- Experience sizing storage systems against real duty cycles and augmentation needs
- Experience selecting BESS vendors and conducting factory witness testing
- Experience obtaining NFPA 855 and hazard mitigation approvals
- Experience integrating storage controls with generation and load
- Clear technical writing

Responsibilities
- Own electrical design and sizing for multi-hundred-megawatt storage plants
- Qualify and dual-source BESS vendors
- Run factory witness testing, failure-mode reviews, and warranty evaluations
- Define integrated storage, solar, and on-site generation dispatch
- Drive NFPA 855 compliance and hazard mitigation approvals
- Lead commissioning, capacity testing, performance testing, and controls integration
