About the Role
You will design, build, and operate backend systems for industrial robot controllers. You will develop high-performance services, APIs, communication paths, and data pipelines; integrate sensor data; troubleshoot across application, operating-system, and device layers; and improve reliability, observability, provisioning, and operational tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
- High proficiency in C++ and Python
- Advanced Linux software development experience
- Expert knowledge of Linux internals, networking stacks, network protocols, routing, asynchronous I/O, and Docker internals
- Full-stack development experience
- Technical communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Design and own backend systems for industrial robotics platforms
- Implement and maintain reliable backend services and APIs
- Build low-latency HTTP and inter-process communication paths
- Integrate sensor-driven data flows and industrial devices
- Develop and improve high-performance data pipelines
- Design efficient database usage and data-access patterns
- Define and improve system metrics and KPIs
- Diagnose and resolve production issues across system layers
- Improve controller provisioning, reset, and upgrade workflows
- Improve observability, diagnostics, and operational tooling
- Make architectural decisions that balance performance, reliability, and maintainability
