About the Role
Build backend infrastructure for Nexus's Layer 1 and native DEX, including APIs, data pipelines, blockchain components, and production-grade systems for verifiable financial applications.
Requirements
- Experience building backend systems in a production environment
- Proficiency in one or more of Node.js, Rust, Go, or Python
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and API design
- Track record of shipping reliable software and improving systems
- Excellent spoken and written Business English
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services in Node.js and Rust for Nexus's Layer 1 and DEX
- Develop APIs and data pipelines for trading, liquidity, and on-chain verification
- Build and maintain blockchain infrastructure components, including RPC endpoints, explorers, and developer tools
- Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code for verifiable financial applications
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions
