About the Role
You will safely operate autonomous vehicles, monitor vehicle and environmental conditions, intervene when needed, and return vehicles to a minimum-risk condition. You will conduct safety inspections, perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs, document system performance, communicate issues, and travel for fieldwork.
Requirements
- Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License valid in Colorado and other requested U.S. states
- 3 years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience
- Safe and proficient trailer-backing skills
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Ability to work day, night, or weekend shifts
- Desktop software and web application skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Availability for two weeks of paid training in Henderson, Colorado
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles for 8–10+ hours per day
- Conduct daily safety inspections and propose safety improvements
- Monitor vehicle performance and intervene to maintain safety
- Report system performance and observations
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs
- Assist with root-cause analysis
- Communicate issues to dispatchers and engineering teams
- Comply with safety rules and wear required equipment
- Travel and perform fieldwork up to 20%
