About the Role
You will conduct multi-scale experiments on energy-related chemical separations, including nuclear fuel mining and reprocessing. You will develop equilibrium, kinetic, and transport models to support process understanding and scale-up. You will prepare reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts and develop collaborative research proposals.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience beyond graduate school
- Experience handling radiological materials
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Personal Identity Verification card
- Pass a Federal Tier 1 background check investigation
- Submit three letters of reference
