About the Role

You will use risk models and optimization programs to manage direct indexing equity portfolios. You will rebalance portfolios for client tax preferences and mandates, work with clients on tax and risk-modeling issues, implement investment strategies, support account operations, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative-analysis skills
• Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Three or more years of relevant finance work experience
• Knowledge of securities markets, products, and behavior
• Understanding of modern portfolio theory
• Experience with portfolio operations, custodial relationships, portfolio accounting, performance, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with multi-factor risk models
• High-net-worth client experience
• Client-facing experience
• Python, SQL, and VBA experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Use quantitative risk models and optimization programs to analyze and manage direct indexing equity portfolios
• Rebalance portfolios according to client tax preferences and investment mandates
• Work with clients on tax- and risk-modeling problems
• Analyze and implement investment strategies with other portfolio managers
• Partner with operations teams to open and manage accounts
• Communicate updates and address client inquiries
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Develop knowledge of SMA product offerings
