Associate Manager - Business Operations

About the Role

You will own and optimize end-to-end operational workflows, design and maintain SOPs and playbooks, and lead initiatives to reduce errors and manual work. You will manage cross-functional operational projects, coordinate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Compliance, Finance, and Leadership, and track progress, risks, and dependencies. You will maintain dashboards and MIS, lead RCA processes for issues and SLA breaches, and ensure governance boards are updated and actioned. You will support custody operations including transaction signing timelines, reconciliation and proof of reserves, key management activities, KYB streamlining, and internal audit readiness. You will identify automation opportunities, lead adoption of task management and orchestration tools, and partner with tech teams to implement scalable internal platforms.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Operations Program Management Consulting or similar cross-functional roles
  • Strong analytical process design and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in fast-paced tech fintech SaaS or regulated environments (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Hands-on experience with ClickUp Notion JIRA HubSpot Salesforce or operational dashboards
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and bring structure to complex problems
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset and ability to execute end-to-end

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize end-to-end operational workflows across departments
  • Design, document, and maintain SOPs playbooks and approval frameworks
  • Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to reduce operational errors delays and manual work
  • Manage high-impact company-wide operational projects and launches
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across Product Engineering Customer Success Finance Risk and Compliance
  • Track and report progress risks and dependencies using ClickUp or similar tools
  • Maintain operational dashboards performance metrics and MIS for leadership review
  • Lead RCA processes for operational errors SLA breaches and customer-impacting issues
  • Ensure governance boards such as Risk Register Voice of Customer and Incident Logs are updated and actioned
  • Collaborate on custody operations to ensure timely transaction signing and compliance
  • Perform reconciliation and proof of reserves to ensure accurate accounting of client assets and liabilities
  • Update SOPs runbooks and training materials and conduct testing and validation of backup and recovery keys
  • Streamline KYB processes for customer onboarding and work with internal auditor for data adherence
  • Ensure documentation and approval for key management activities
  • Lead adoption of task management CRM and ITSM tools and identify automation opportunities
  • Partner with technology teams to implement scalable internal platforms
