About the Role
You will assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, process accounts payable, prepare reconciliations, analyze legal entity results, support intercompany eliminations and consolidation, investigate and record accounting entries, contribute to acquisitions and restructuring projects, respond to FP&A and SEC reporting requests, and manage audit requests.
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Familiarity with maintaining books and records of a bank or financial institution
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with datasets in Excel
- Flexibility to innovate and implement procedures that improve processes and workflow
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working at a public accounting firm is a plus
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
- Prepare month-end reconciliations for corporate balances
- Analyze legal entity-level results for service entities
- Assist with intercompany eliminations and consolidation procedures
- Investigate, reconcile, and record accounting entries
- Support projects involving acquisitions and internal restructures
- Work with FP&A and SEC reporting teams on requests and initiatives
- Manage and respond to audit requests
