About the Role
You will support day-to-day digital label operations by setting up and maintaining releases, metadata, lyrics, digital assets, and video content. You will audit catalog data, track operational work, resolve delivery issues, support migrations and special projects, and maintain process documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience or internship experience in digital operations, label operations, music distribution, metadata, video operations, or a related music-industry area preferred
- Interest in digital music distribution and release operations
- Attention to detail and accuracy with metadata, spreadsheets, datasets, and digital assets
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Understanding of music metadata, including UPCs, ISRCs, artist information, contributor credits, and release metadata preferred
- Familiarity with YouTube, VEVO, Airtable, DSPs, and digital distribution platforms preferred
- Experience with OpenPlay, YouTube CMS, FUGA, or similar content and metadata management systems is a plus
- Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain digital products in OpenPlay, including release and track metadata, artist information, credits, codes, lyrics, territories, artwork, and audio assets
- Set up, deliver, and maintain video content on YouTube and VEVO
- Review video metadata and assets against platform requirements and troubleshoot delivery issues
- Conduct catalog audits and quality-control checks on metadata, assets, and video content
- Maintain internal trackers and documentation for releases, videos, lyrics, catalog maintenance, and operational issues
- Support catalog migrations, metadata initiatives, platform projects, and other special projects
- Develop and maintain internal processes, SOPs, and best-practice documentation
- Maintain familiarity with distribution partners, DSP requirements, metadata standards, and digital delivery workflows
