About the Role

You optimize rental property portfolios, advise property managers on high-value operating decisions, analyze rents and budgets, monitor investor and market performance, develop financial reports and models, and recommend strategies that improve NOI and investment outcomes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of asset management experience with multifamily or SFR properties
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Microsoft Excel financial modeling experience with large datasets
• Experience building ad hoc KPI reports
• Strong quantitative and mathematical skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Optimize investor portfolios
• Partner with data teams to improve visibility into operational performance
• Derive insights to enhance NOI
• Perform rent underwriting analysis
• Develop and track budgets and budget-to-actual analyses
• Lead regional market meetings and performance goal setting
• Monitor recently acquired assets
• Complete hold-sell analyses
• Advise the Buying Team on market trends and buy-box strategies
• Develop inventory and revenue management strategies
• Review operating performance and make recommendations
• Produce financial reports and maintain lender tape models
• Compile quarterly performance results for institutional partners
