About the Role

You will explore accelerator architectures for evolving AI models, evaluate memory and communication designs, and develop analytical and simulation models for architectural tradeoffs. You will work across hardware and software disciplines, define subsystem interfaces and architecture documentation, guide product-roadmap decisions, and track relevant models, research, competitors, and algorithms.

Requirements

• 15+ years of ASIC architecture experience
• Expertise in AI accelerator design and high-performance SoCs
• Experience building performance models for memory systems and interconnects
• Hardware/software co-design ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own architectural exploration for transformer, MoE, sparse, and long-context models
• Evaluate decoding, batching, cache, attention, and state-space techniques
• Assess memory architectures, communication architectures, and interconnects
• Develop analytical models and simulation frameworks for architectural tradeoffs
• Estimate performance, utilization, scaling, power, area, and cost
• Partner with compiler, runtime, system software, firmware, ASIC engineering, and ML research
• Develop architecture documents and define subsystem interfaces
• Guide product-roadmap tradeoffs
• Track AI models, research, competitors, and emerging algorithms
• Use AI for research, analysis, architecture exploration, simulation generation, and documentation
