About the Role

You'll join a paid 6-week piercing training program that combines classroom learning, observation, and hands-on practice. Once you graduate, you'll become eligible for a part-time Associate Piercer position at the Roseville studio. Day to day, you'll act as a brand ambassador, guiding clients through the Studs experience with clear and professional communication. You'll apply piercing operating procedures and safety regulations to keep both clients and yourself safe, and you'll keep detailed records of maintenance, sterilized inventory, and tools. You'll be expected to pierce a minimum of 18 appointments a day, use a steady hand for advanced piercings, and handle chemicals safely, all while staying accountable to studio compliance and company policy.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • At least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (performing venipunctures and/or finger sticks) preferred
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule of varying days and hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have availability to work on Saturday and Sunday, excluding approved unscheduled time away
  • Reliably attend work as scheduled for up to 29 hours per week
  • Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day
  • Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy to execute advanced piercings
  • Must be able to deliver piercings with a steady hand
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs
  • Must be able to handle chemicals safely
  • Travel to one of our studio locations for the duration of the training program (paid by Studs)

  • Deliver confident clear and professional communication with clients
  • Apply Studs resources and policies in decision making
  • Follow piercing operating procedures and regulations to ensure safety
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance sterilized inventory and tools
  • Prioritize studio compliance and follow standard operating procedures
  • Escalate issues and admit mistakes when help is needed
  • Provide best in class service to everyone in the studio
  • Give and receive solutions-oriented feedback
