About the Role
You will assist electricians with diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and installing electrical components and systems. You will interpret electrical blueprints and schematics, use tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks, order parts, maintain work logs, troubleshoot malfunctions, replace defective parts, and collaborate with other workers while expanding your electrical knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Apprenticeship program
- Basic understanding of electrical work and terminology
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Aptitude for using tools and performing technical tasks
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods
- Participation in a drug and alcohol program is required
