About the Role
Join Slash AI Labs to bring AI across Slash Financial's product surfaces. Build production AI systems, extend the custom agent platform, create web, Slack, and API experiences, develop internal tooling and evaluation frameworks, and work with leading LLM APIs and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping full-stack AI products serving real users reliably.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or modern web frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Node.js, with strong backend fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Anthropic or OpenAI LLM APIs and tool-calling, structured output, and streaming.
- Ability to build and iterate quickly.
- Experience with agent orchestration, MCP, RAG, structured extraction, or model evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack AI features from prompt engineering and agent orchestration through React UI and API integration.
- Build and extend the agent runtime, including orchestration, tool execution, MCP servers, graph-based conversation state, and context compaction.
- Design and implement agent experiences across web, Slack, and programmatic APIs.
- Build internal AI tooling and platforms, model evaluation frameworks, prompt management, and LLM observability tooling.
- Work with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, the Vercel AI SDK, and the custom orchestration layer on tool-calling, long-context management, and multi-step reasoning.
- Improve AI infrastructure through inference routing, model tiering, prompt caching, and streaming architecture on AWS/EKS.
