About the Role
You will work closely with Solutions Architects to understand their workflows and turn ambiguous business needs into production-quality tools. You will build and maintain AI agents, automated workflows, internal tools, custom demos, proof-of-concept applications, and technical assets. You will identify recurring friction, scale successful solutions, debug backend systems, and document architectures and usage patterns for wider adoption.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience shipping production systems as an engineer
- Backend engineering fundamentals
- Experience building and deploying AI agents, LLM-powered tools, or workflow automation
- Experience scoping and delivering work with minimal oversight
- Proficiency in at least two of Ruby, Node.js, Python, or Next.js
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP, including deployment, monitoring, and basic DevOps
- Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or workflow automation
- Experience working across multiple codebases and technology stacks
- Experience using AI and LLM tools in engineering workflows
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to scope and ship iterative solutions for ambiguous business problems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, leadership, Product, and Engineering to scope technical work and define deliverables
- Evaluate and integrate LLMs, agents, and workflow automation for measurable productivity improvements
- Build internal tools, agents, and automated workflows
- Harden tools and workflows into scalable, maintainable production solutions
- Identify recurring workflow friction and proactively build solutions
- Build custom demo environments, proof-of-concept applications, and technical assets
- Document tools, architectures, and usage patterns
- Debug, extend, and maintain backend systems
