About the Role
You will own vulnerability management from discovery through remediation, reporting, and measurement. You will harden operating-system images, secure open-source dependencies, integrate security validation into CI/CD pipelines, evaluate security tools, and promote secure coding through guidance, training, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 8+ years of application security and vulnerability management experience
- Understanding of CVEs, the OWASP Top 10, and supply chain risks
- Experience with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management tools
- Experience with AWS, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive security adoption
- Problem-solving skills and ability to balance security with performance and usability
Responsibilities
- Own the vulnerability management lifecycle
- Harden base operating-system images
- Secure open-source dependencies, package managers, and the software supply chain
- Integrate SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and automated security validation into CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate and develop security solutions and tooling
- Define secure-coding practices and drive engineering adoption
- Provide security guidance, training, and mentorship
