About the Role

You will design and execute the AML and counter-terrorism financing program for a hybrid payments infrastructure. You will monitor foreign-exchange and virtual-asset transactions, conduct due diligence, investigate suspicious activity, prepare regulatory reports, assess partner risk, and manage sanctions and blockchain monitoring controls.

Requirements

  • Solid AML and counter-terrorism financing experience in Brazilian foreign exchange, virtual-asset services, remittance, or cross-border payments
  • Knowledge of Brazilian Central Bank foreign-exchange regulation
  • Foreign-exchange documentation analysis
  • Blockchain
  • Stablecoin
  • On-chain analysis
  • Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or Elliptic
  • Advanced or fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Develop and calibrate transaction-monitoring scenarios
  • Analyze transaction rationale and supporting documentation
  • Monitor nested relationships among agents, VASPs, and intermediaries
  • Conduct customer and enhanced due diligence
  • Prepare technical opinions, investigation files, and suspicious-activity reports
  • Assess AML and compliance risks in commercial partnerships
  • Ensure required originator and beneficiary data for cross-border transactions
  • Integrate on-chain and off-chain transaction monitoring
  • Manage sanctions screening and high-risk jurisdiction controls
  • Respond to information requests from correspondent banks and partners
