About the Role
You will lead the planning, requirements definition, and implementation of AML systems for stablecoin issuance and related services. You will design and improve KYC processes, risk assessments, monitoring rules, and internal-control policies. You will manage AML training, support regulatory inspections, and prepare compliance reports and requested materials.
Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of AML or compliance experience in financial services, fintech, or VASP, including at least 3 years of system planning and implementation experience.
- Have practical experience interpreting and operating AML laws and regulations, including the Act on Reporting and Using Specified Financial Transaction Information, the Virtual Asset User Protection Act, VASP regulations, and the Travel Rule.
- Understand AML frameworks including KYC/CDD, STR/CTR, internal controls, and RBA, and have led system implementation or operations as a project manager or project lead.
- Have experience undergoing regulatory inspections by KoFIU or the Financial Supervisory Service and implementing corrective actions.
- Have no disciplinary record at current or previous employers.
Responsibilities
- Lead AML system planning, requirements definition, and implementation projects for FDS, Travel Rule integrations, KYC/KYB, and data retention.
- Design and improve KYC processes.
- Design and operate risk assessments.
- Analyze STR and FDS standards and manage response processes.
- Operate and improve AML frameworks and systems, including KYC, WLF, RA, and RBA models.
- Establish and maintain AML/CFT policies for internal products.
- Enhance AML monitoring rules and update manuals.
- Manage internal-control regulations and work processes in line with current laws.
- Run internal AML training programs and increase company-wide awareness.
- Support inspections by the FIU and Financial Supervisory Service and manage AML-related communications.
- Prepare and submit AML reports and materials requested by internal and external parties.
