About the Role
You will build and ship Android ad-format experiences, including text, image, video, native, conversational, and interactive surfaces. You will own client-side architecture, networking, state, rendering, performance, testing, and release workflows while collaborating on privacy-aware and policy-compliant experiences.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with Android ownership
- Experience building and shipping Android applications in production
- Kotlin proficiency
- Experience with Gradle, Android Studio, modern Android architecture patterns, and Jetpack Compose
- Experience building mobile UI systems, media-rich experiences, rendering frameworks, design systems, or reusable product infrastructure
- Knowledge of performance, reliability, privacy, and user experience
- Experience with ads formats, creative rendering, media delivery, native ads, conversational products, mobile monetization, or consumer mobile applications
Responsibilities
- Build and ship Android ad-format experiences
- Design and maintain Android frameworks for ad rendering and media handling
- Own Android UI architecture, networking, local state, observability, rendering performance, and release processes
- Integrate media playback, deep links, device capabilities, and app lifecycle behavior
- Optimize rendering, scrolling, startup time, media loading, network resiliency, battery usage, and crash-free sessions
- Establish unit, integration, UI, screenshot, regression, and release validation testing
- Deliver privacy-aware and policy-compliant ad experiences
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards
