About the Role
You will support the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities through due diligence, Investment Committee presentations, deal execution, and portfolio value creation. You will build financial models, conduct research, develop investment theses, prepare investment materials, and collaborate with senior stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts across global markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s students are also eligible
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or venture capital
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
- Financial modeling and analytical skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and business fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Build detailed financial models and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses for investment due diligence and portfolio value creation
- Draft investment memoranda and prepare presentations for the Investment Committee
- Collaborate with senior leaders, management teams, and entrepreneurs to support portfolio companies and evaluate opportunities
- Develop investment theses and sector expertise through industry research, market mapping, and engagement with experts and consultants
- Conduct proprietary research through calls and meetings with industry participants, customers, and advisors
- Perform financial analysis, customer research, valuation, and competitive benchmarking across the investment lifecycle
- Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across Europe and global markets
- Collaborate with global offices and travel frequently to support investment activity and cross-office collaboration
