About the Role
You will propose high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit architectures for optical transceivers. You will estimate device performance, power, and area, collaborate on photonic interconnect solutions, model and analyze designs, author and validate architectural specifications, and represent technical work at conferences.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or a related analog-design discipline
- Experience designing and testing optical front-end receivers and transmitters in advanced CMOS
- Experience with TIAs, drivers, CTLE, DFE, ADC, DAC, and oscillators
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Spectre, Verilog-A, and IBIS-AMI simulators
- Ability to collaborate in a cross-disciplinary team
- Written communication and problem-solving skills
